Responsibility

  • support on the development and effective implementation of a staff intranet through SharePoint
  • support the CEO and Senior Leadership Team’s internal communications, including writing and distributing a weekly internal digital newsletter
  • lead on internal communications and engagement events and identify new ideas to further enhance our culture and collaborative approach
  • act as a communications advisor for all colleagues and champion communications at every opportunity
  • work closely with teams to ensure messaging is consistent across all channels and in line with our communications strategy
  • work closely with HR to develop communications around our recruitment and onboarding process
  • work closely with colleagues to support on communications needs including proofing, providing creative and engaging copy
  • support the implementation of our communications strategy, in particular lead on implementing our internal communications strategy, with a focus on building an open and inclusive culture

Requirements

  • experience and knowledge of managing different communications channels
  • experience of translating complex messages and updates into simple, accessible communications that cut through
  • experience in measuring impact to build on and improve results
  • experience of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • knowledge or interest in the charity sector and internal engagement events
  • evidence of a commitment to continuous personal development
