cleaning operative
Responsibility
- perform interior and exterior aircraft cleaning, including deep cleans, dry washes, brightwork polishing, and technical cleaning
- work alongside Aero Valet colleagues and client engineering teams in hangar and airside environments
- ensure all work is completed in line with company SOPs and health & safety requirements
- maintain and prepare cleaning equipment and products to a high standard
- you will carry out interior and exterior cleaning of various aircraft types, ensuring they meet the exacting standards of our clients. This is a hands-on role working in hangar and airside environments with a focus on precision and quality
Requirements
- flexible approach to working hours – shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
- willingness to travel to airports across the UK and work away from home frequently
- strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- previous experience in aviation, cleaning, or detailing is preferred but not essential
- full UK driving licence
- ability to pass airport security vetting, including a criminal record check and 5-year work history verification
- MEWPS Certification - IPAF 3A/B
- aircraft/automotive cleaning: 1 year
