deliver efficient and compliant proposals to both internal and external clients, ensuring revenue generation in line with our business plan
arrange and oversee the sampling of client wastes to inform pre-acceptance/acceptance processes
review and interpret analysis data, providing well-founded recommendations based on your assessments
collaborate with operational and logistical departments to identify compliant external disposal routes for waste materials
actively communicate and approve the use of identified disposal routes, aiming to enhance client service and recovery/disposal options
Requirements
A degree in Chemistry or equivalent waste technical field
in-depth knowledge of waste assessment legislation, industry practices, and current disposal/recovery methods
proven experience in added value sales within the waste and recycling marketplace in the UK
strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and clients
excellent team-working ethic, organizational skills, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
previous experience in hazardous waste/technical waste sales and successful negotiations with customers and suppliers
