  • deliver efficient and compliant proposals to both internal and external clients, ensuring revenue generation in line with our business plan
  • arrange and oversee the sampling of client wastes to inform pre-acceptance/acceptance processes
  • review and interpret analysis data, providing well-founded recommendations based on your assessments
  • collaborate with operational and logistical departments to identify compliant external disposal routes for waste materials
  • actively communicate and approve the use of identified disposal routes, aiming to enhance client service and recovery/disposal options

Requirements

  • A degree in Chemistry or equivalent waste technical field
  • in-depth knowledge of waste assessment legislation, industry practices, and current disposal/recovery methods
  • proven experience in added value sales within the waste and recycling marketplace in the UK
  • strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and clients
  • excellent team-working ethic, organizational skills, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • previous experience in hazardous waste/technical waste sales and successful negotiations with customers and suppliers
