- developing new and existing corporate business
- maximising local relationships and identifying new opportunities
- an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to play a key role in developing MICE and corporate business from the local and national market
- working closely with the hotel's Director of Revenue & Sales and team, you will be required to source, develop and grow revenue from both new and existing clients
- managing a portfolio of key accounts
- in addition, the role involves being an effective host with the ability to showcase the hotel in a professional and effective way
- completing RFPs and rate negotiation
- attending and networking at local events
Requirements
- proven experience in a similar proactive sales role within a luxury property/resort advantageous
- proven experience in a similar proactive sales role within a luxury property/resort is essential
- experience of the East Anglian market
- clear understanding of business segmentation, ensuring the right mix is achieved
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A confident manner and the ability to lead and work with team members
- A forward thinker who is able to identify opportunities in a proactive manner
- relevant industry qualifications
