- we are currently seeking a CAD Technician for our client; a leading manufacturing that supply equipment to various engineering sectors
- working for a well established and respected Engineering client specialising in offshore structural engineering projects
- provide Engineering design support for offshore projects
- working as part of a design team delivering design from feasibility to completion and handover
- designing basic bespoke Fabrications, Machined Components in a wide range of materials and industries

Requirements
- be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Excel, Word and Outlook
- competent CAD Technician with a HNC/HND Qualification and/or can demonstrate experience in a similar role will be considered
- strong technical and engineering background with the ability to resolve creative and technical problems for customers and production staff
- the ability to understand and interpret technical data, including reading design drawings
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- able to create drawings with constructability and spatial awareness in mind
- confident at communicating at all levels and with customers
- proficiency in Structural Engineering design
Education
- degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
