- experience working within the field of Logistics - preferably in Mechanical or Plant Engineering
- strong technical understanding would be advantageous e.g. reading drawings, knowledge of various manufacturing processes
- ability to develop technical and commercial inquiry and tender specifications for relevant transports
- knowledge of contract law and experience in dealing with ERP software solutions is an advantage
- creative and adaptable in the ability to manage new challenges
- highly organised with the ability to manage multiple, complex and fast-track priorities with a proactive and positive attitude
- ability to promote best practice and QHSE compliance, raising standards through demonstration of own behaviours
- works closely with others to maximise team achievements and effectiveness through developing relationships and continuous sharing of knowledge and ideas
