Responsibility
- assess damaged vehicles and determine necessary repairs
- use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace damaged panels
- maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to safety protocols
- assemble parts according to schematics and manufacturer specifications
- perform equipment repairs as needed to ensure optimal functionality
- provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines
- conduct heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury
- collaborate with team members to achieve efficient workflow and meet deadlines
Requirements
- proven experience as a Panel Beater or in a similar role within the automotive industry
- strong mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret schematics for assembly purposes
- proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
- strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all work performed
- previous experience in customer service is advantageous but not essential
- panel beater/spray painter: 1 year
