we currently have an opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join our beautiful Care Home
rate of pay is dependant on experience
you will need to demonstrate an understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
the position offered is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, however you may be required to cover on an occasional weekend in the absence of the weekend chef
following a successful 6 month probationary period staff are enrolled onto a Healthcare Scheme which can help towards medical, dental and optical bills
you will need to have a relevant qualification or suitable experience of cooking in volume and catering for a variety of dietary needs, including preparation and presentation of soft/pureed foods when necessary
to carry out stock takes at the end of each month
to attend staff/resident/relative meetings when required

we currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and professional Deputy Care Home Manager to join our beautiful residential home
salary is dependant on experience
the successful candidate will be required to support the Care Home Manager with the management of the Home, with a particular emphasis on clinical/care leadership, to ensure that an excellent standard of resident care is set, delivered, and always maintained
this is a full time position, with 4 days allocated to Administrative duties and 1 clinical day, working with staff you will be expected to work one day every other weekend
on successful completion of a 6 month probationary period staff have access to a Healthcare program offering financial support with medical, optical and dental needs
to ensure that all medications, including controlled drugs are ordered, stored, administered and disposed of in accordance with the Company Medicines Policy, CQC guidance on drug administration and regulated standards where appropriate
to deputise for the Care Home Manager in their absence, being responsible for the fabric and running of the Home, ensuring that there are sufficient staff to carry out all duties whilst ensuring the Home continues to provide a safe and secure environment for residents and staff alike conducive to their general wellbeing
to attend or chair meetings as requested and or to represent the Care Home Manager, as necessary

Requirements
proven experience in a supervisory role within an assisted living or nursing home setting is highly desirable
strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and healthcare regulations
excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
compassionate approach to care with a strong commitment to resident wellbeing
ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities
strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
experience in dementia care is an advantage, along with a genuine passion for improving the lives of those in your care

conduct regular assessments of resident needs and staff performance to enhance service delivery
