Responsibility
- we currently have an opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join our beautiful Care Home
- rate of pay is dependant on experience
- you will need to demonstrate an understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
- the position offered is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, however you may be required to cover on an occasional weekend in the absence of the weekend chef
- following a successful 6 month probationary period staff are enrolled onto a Healthcare Scheme which can help towards medical, dental and optical bills
- you will need to have a relevant qualification or suitable experience of cooking in volume and catering for a variety of dietary needs, including preparation and presentation of soft/pureed foods when necessary
- to carry out stock takes at the end of each month
- to attend staff/resident/relative meetings when required
