Responsibility
- manage a team of cleaners to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in all areas
- create and manage schedules for cleaning staff, ensuring adequate coverage at all times
- train and develop cleaning staff to ensure that they are able to meet the demands of the role
- ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored
- ensure that all cleaning supplies are ordered and delivered in a timely manner
- monitor and report on the performance of the cleaning staff, including KPIs
- conduct regular audits of the cleaning service to ensure that it is meeting the required standards
- manage and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- proven experience in a similar role, managing a team of cleaners
- flexible and adaptable, able to respond to the demands of the role
- strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and staff
- strong organisational skills, able to manage schedules and resources effectively
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
- full UK driving license
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
