to be an active member of the care team, contribute to meetings and attend training as requested
to participate in regular staff supervision sessions with the Managers, and attend regular staff meetings
implement, monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules and ensure all areas of the kitchen and equipment is immaculately clean
be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in full safe working order, reporting any faults to the Manager on duty and follow up any appropriate action
responsible to: Home Management Team
to ensure the kitchen is hygienically clean at all times

ensure that deep cleans are completed on the residents bedrooms
ensure that cleaning logs are signed after completion
to launder the residents clothing and put it back in their wardrobe in their bedrooms ensuing they are kept tidy
to use correct cleaning chemicals and colour coded mops etc as per COSHH regulations
to keep communal areas free of dust and dirt and ensure the home is presentable
