Responsibility
- assist with Desktop Studies of structures to provide specific methodologies for inspections including inventory and defect reviews, access requirements and constraints
- maintain all company owned plant and equipment in good working order
- assist with and report inspections into different Asset Management Systems and contribute to the use of innovative technology in inspections

- carry out 6 Monthly LOLER inspections of rope access/lifting equipment
- undertaking and inspections using NDT techniques such as Radiography, Dye Pen and MPI with potential UT and Visual Inspections
- ensuring all customers are compliant with vital regulations that help to govern their industry in the UK
- advance checking, cleaning, servicing, maintenance and preparation of tools and equipment required for projects as directed and within your capability
- carry out regular checks and maintenance of all diving equipment
- the proper use and safe-keeping of any company plant and equipment for which you may from time to time be responsible
- providing excellent service to our Customers, including and especially when representing the company on the Customers Site
- helping to prolong the life of machinery by spotting any potential defects as early as possible
- manage the timely supply/issue of equipment to operational teams including assistance in loading vehicles
- working on sites such as the AWL factory, ship yards, manufacturing plants, power stations and gas terminals
- always providing an exceptional level of customer service, whilst representing our brilliant company professionally
- satisfactory achievement in all assigned training
- recording the return of equipment from operational teams
- assist with maintenance inspections and record information to best practise in accordance with the requirements of the Inspection Manual for Highway Structures, CS450 and other bespoke DMRB standards
- working on equipment such as compressors, pipework and high pressure gauges
- identify and submit close calls in line with company procedures
- cleaning and servicing all equipment and maintaining it in a state of readiness for operational use
- adhere to company issue/return/maintenance procedures
- complying with the instructions of Project Managers, site supervisors and safety supervisors as appropriate on any project to which you are assigned
- cooperating in company audits and quality control procedures
- report any damaged, altered or misused equipment
- fully engage with and actively work towards timely completion of BICS accreditation
- undertaking cleaning of company vehicles and basic maintenance/repair tasks as and when necessary
- liaise and work with Stores Persons in other offices and provide cover as and when necessary
- working on sites such as the AWL factory as well as customer sites such as ship yards, manufacturing plants, power stations and gas terminals
- maintenance of site records and a site diary
- transferring of vehicles and/or equipment to other locations as and when necessary

- undertake site works in a safe manner in-line with company procedures and the safe systems of work put in place for each task
- regular checks on certain items will be required together with the completion of inspection and maintenance records
