Responsibility
- supporting the NEC Project Manager to administer the post contract administration of NEC contracts, including assessment of contractual change and payments
- build & Nurture the key stakeholders’ relationships across the wider business
- ensure that the project team comply with the contractual obligations

- support suppliers in providing accurate and validated information for Project Cost and Financial Forecasts
- build and maintain relationships with the client
- supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
- manage all the costs relating to the development of a new site for the business
- reviewing and developing operational processed to improve performance and maximise opportunities
- participation in risk and value management/meetings as required for the project
- A contract manager is an integral part of our management team, managing senior level relationships with key stakeholders
- assisting in CVR processes and preparing periodic commercial reports
- calculating material quantities and cost, labour costs and within the required timeframe
- monitoring contractors & sub-contractors, safety aspects, progress and requirements
- producing reports on progress and detailing costs
- seek to minimise the cost and risk of the project and enhance value for money, whilst still achieving the required legal standards and quality
- responsible for all pre and post contract commercial activities and managing Commercial teams on assigned project portfolio
- price & Forecast the cost of the different materials required for the project
- be the first port of contact and responsible for the day-to-day performance, compliance, and ensuring processes and produces are in line with KPIs
- prepare contracts, budgets, bill of quantities and all other documentation
- identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve cost management procedures
Requirements
- preferable to process a degree related to quantity surveying / law / procurement or working towards MCIPS / MRICS
- excellent experience of NEC3/4
- in-depth technical knowledge of specialised field, including construction processes and cost and commercial management in a consultancy setting

- experience of working on rail projects would be advantageous
- experience of working in infrastructure
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to influence stakeholders and third parties
