- provide support for clerical and secretarial absence due to sickness and/or annual leave as requested by the Admin Supervisor
- general office duties – filing, photocopying, scanning
- typing letters and sending out when necessary
- manage diaries of consultants / other medical staff / clinicians to maximise effective time management
- answer telephone on behalf of Clinician and handle enquiries
- provide effective handing of telephone or email queries in a professional, sensitive manner
- answering telephone calls to the service users

- communicate key information throughout the division

- attending weekly multi-disciplinary meetings and other meetings as required taking and transcribing minutes within locally agreed timescales
- general admin tasks such as dealing with incoming/outgoing post and photo-copying
