  • minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a Sous chef position or higher with experience in fine dining
  • understanding of cooking and knife handling skills
  • strong Organizational Skills and attention to detail
  • A genuine passion for cooking, restaurant hospitality, and learning new skills
  • passion for cooking with a desire to develop your knowledge and culinary skills further
  • ability to lead & teach a team where consistently great food is the focus
  • proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
  • strong culinary skills and a creative approach to menu planning and food presentation

Responsibility


  • salary up to £45,000
  • 45 hours per week, five out of seven
  • 28 days holiday
  • collaborate closely with the Chef de Cuisine to maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service
  • prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes to our standards
  • assist the Executive Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
  • pension contribution
  • supervise and mentor the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and support to maximise their potential
  • ensure consistency and quality in food preparations
  • must be a head chef calibre candidate
  • contribute to menu creation and updates, showcasing your expertise in English cuisine
  • coordinate and manage kitchen operations during service hours
  • supervise and coordinate kitchen service with other departments

  • assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard
  • managing and training a large team of chefs
  • ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently
  • maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness
  • you must be comfortable creating dishes in this style and be able to direct a small team
