- the Station Manager will work autonomously, providing working cover which will ensure continuity of management and providing high quality, visible and accessible leadership
- the SM will be accountable for the day to day implementation and monitoring of service delivery for their station in support of the Division’s key performance indicators working in
- northamptonshire is one of five divisions within EMAS. Northamptonshire has 8 stations spread of the North and South of the county
- upload recruitment accruals to be included for local, study specific and regional reporting
- the positions being advertised is specifically to manage Corby Ambulance Station
- to support the Head of clinical Audit and research and Deputy Head of Clinical Audit and Research in the development and implementation of the Trust’s Research Strategy ensuring that all research governance requirements are met
- to facilitate meetings, produce and provide minutes/reports to the members and key stakeholders
- the SM will operate flexibly across the defined area of responsibility and they will provide support, guidance and advice to all staff based at or visiting their station
- produce honorary contracts and/or research passports for researchers who require one under the latest guidance issued by the Department of Health
- the SM will be responsible for the oversight and management of relevant investigations, dealing with complaints and issues and ensuring swift resolution where both appropriate and possible
- develop and maintain information processing systems, which ensure the production of timely, ad hoc, and routine reports to support the needs of the Trust
- to extract and provide analysis, investigation and interpretation of complex statistical/analytical/research and clinical audit data which can be used to create accurate reports
- demonstrate and promote visible and high-quality leadership and professional management for a station / group of stations within the Division
- operationally the role will predominantly work across 5 days with a requirement to work out of hours and weekends to support operational delivery

- assist in and contribute to the development of strategies, local policies and procedures, and action plans in relation to new government relevant information
- to act as a role model and promote the vision, values and strategic aims of the Trust at all times
- organisation and maintenance of the EMAS research databases, and those externally whereby access is available and that require updating regularly according to study, protocol, processes, or procedures
- ensure that effective engagement processes are in place across stations of responsibility
- to provide effective management and leadership to a team of staff within defined station
