- to exercise effective and responsible leadership, guidance and professional direction as part of Southern House senior management team
- to ensure the provision and maintenance of high quality care in a supportive environment maintaining appropriate effective relationships

- to ensure all complaints are dealt with in line with policy and procedures and take responsibility for the compilation and appropriate notifications of statements concerning complaints, defects, accidents and equipment
- 6 To manage a devolved budget for Southern House supported by the Area Manager, and the Finance Director and his staff and ensure that requested information is supplied in a timely manner
- to ensure that the control of drugs and medicines is appropriate and correct records kept in accordance with CIW and NMCStandards for Medicines Management 2008
- to ensure that staff carry out their duties to full legal and procedural requirements and meet our standards
- to compile staff duty rosters, maintaining appropriate staffing levels at all times
- to ensure staff and resident meetings take place on a regular basis and that appropriate records are made and retained
Requirements
- to ensure that appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times and are within the allocated budget
- to initiate and co-ordinate appropriate team and care staff meetings within the service
- to ensure at all times ongoing compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and good practice guidelines
