- have an understanding of regulatory responsibilities and client care in a legal setting
- there will be a mixture of liability admitted and disputed cases
- legal drafting, ie List of Documents, Reply to Defence, witness statements, updated schedules of loss, Trial Bundles
- instructing medicals, obtaining medical records
- will provide support and assist administratively and with routine work delegated on files, under supervision
- active use of Proclaim case management systems
- reviewing Medical Evidence and valuing Whiplash Injuries
- able to risk assess liability / quantum in low value RTA claims
- have an understanding of legal process an advantage but not essential
- responsible for compliance with court directions and orders
- photocopying large bundles
- assessing all medical reports and records for potential inaccuracies
- analyse risk and develop a sound judgement to justify decisions in the management of cases
- reviewing Claimant’s Losses and Vehicle Related Losses including Credit Hire
- diligent and have a high standard of attention to detail and work ethic
- compliance with internal instructions and those from supervisors, in a timely fashion
- redacting financial documents & reporting whether client is impecunious

- responsible for a high volume Personal Injury RTA caseload, you will be responsible for following the MOJ process and using the Proclaim management sytem

- undertaking MOT searches & Google Map images
- recovery of any vehicle related damages and credit hire
- experienced in using a case management and diary system
- requesting DVLA searches
- ability to negotiate and settle cases/ achieve best outcomes

- providing support to a Senior Solicitor to progress a full caseload of RTA cases
- you will ensure that all Court processes run smoothly and effectively

- a. Work will involve contacting clients, the court, opponents and other parties, collating documents, assisting preparing evidence and assisting the fee earner with compliance with court directions/orders
- you will be working within the Head of Operations and the senior fee earners that deal the litigation process within Housing Disrepair – assisting the team with progression and settlement of the files on behalf of clients post issue with the support of the team
