Responsibility

  • ensure systems are in place to enable staff to be supported, supervised and trained appropriately
  • monitor performance in relation to quality, budgets and contract compliance
  • market and sell the private beds within the service and develop the service in line with local needs
  • as the Registered Manager with CQC you will be responsible for making sure the quality of the service and care provided meets the Fundamental Standards as well as the standards set by the company
  • you will be responsible for developing a person-centred team that supports each individual living in the service to happy, safe and well cared for

Requirements

  • understanding of the Health & Social Care Act and Health & Safety Legislation
  • good communication skills
  • recruitment and staff retention skills
  • experience training and developing staff members
  • willing to provide an out of hours call service
  • able to provide cover for other care homes if required
  • have experience working to CQC guidelines and regulations
  • care Home Management: 2 years
