experience in managing significant transport projects from design through to delivery
experience working as part of a team delivering large-scale regeneration programmes with major transport and infrastructure programmes
experience of preparing business cases and external funding bids for transport projects

Responsibility

managing a range of high profile highways, transport and public realm projects
managing a range of high profile active travel, traffic calming and public realm improvement projects
delivering a range of cycling, walking and traffic programmes to encourage active / sustainable travel
delivering a range of highway infrastructure, utility diversion and hostile vehicle mitigation schemes
overseeing the work carried out by the chosen design consultant and the contractor
liaising with third party consultants, contractors and the public
cost reporting, tender procurement, stakeholder engagement and design management
other duties include report writing, site visits, budget preparation and stakeholder engagement
to work as part of the Strategic Transport Team to support the development and delivery of the Hind Street and Dock Branch Programmes
to liaise with relevant departments to support the delivery of programmes and activity, in particular highways, design, communications, assets and legal
