Requirements


  • vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in a related field
  • complete troubleshooting while operating equipment, including performing and documenting limited preventive maintenance
  • 0 -2 years of relevant experience
  • monitor, measure, and record quality assurance data including, but not limited to, dimensions, weight, or other specific information
  • skilled in the use of hand tools including calipers, depth gauges, micrometres, and other measuring equipment, and machinery
  • observe safe work practices, maintains a safe and clean work environment and wears the appropriate personal protective equipment
  • ability to follow read various instructions
  • track orders, utilizing appropriate equipment, moves material to enable the production process to flow efficiently and effectively
  • able to problem-solve using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks
  • comprehend and accurately follows specific detailed operational instructions and prints for job and setup operations
  • solid oral and written communciation skills
  • regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule and additional hours as necessary

Responsibility


  • operate machinery and quality check products
  • ensure production capability and the proper operational processes in the production unit
  • assist with maintenance and servicing work and any troubleshooting or cleaning work within the workplace's
  • to comply with environmental protection and occupational safety regulations
  • to organise the movement of stock as instructed by Supervisor/Manager
  • assemble and pack light products
  • report any concerns about product defects or workshop machinery
  • driving Company van/truck for collections and deliveries as required
  • to ensure all packing requirements are completed in line with expectations of both internal and external customers
  • ensure quality is maintained, aiming for "Right First Time" approach on all packing requirements
  • using best practices for both packaging integrity and quality
  • ensure as the final internal customer that the goods are packed in a standard that you would
  • expect if taking a delivery at home
  • liaise and communicate at all times with your line manager in relation job specific duties
  • to assist the packing, checking and loading all corporate lunches ready for delivery
  • to prepare food, stock requirements and planning for our daily sandwich vans
  • to assist in client deliveries when required, ensuring a polite and friendly manner when liaising with clients on site
